The Temple Tap Conglomeration - We also walk dogs

Not-so-Blind Justice for whom any task is important enough to be given respect and diligence in its performance.

Hence: "We also walk dogs" or

"Canes etiam deambulamus"

as Ptolemy may have said.

Temple Tap* - Canes etiam deambulamus

We also walk dogs. email:  Bill <b@templetap.com>

Temple Tap was established in Australia as an assistive technology service that grew into a conglomeration of related Technology, Legal and Financial service subsidiaries.

The motto of "We also walk dogs" is taken from a 1941 short story by Robert A Heinlein, "—We Also Walk Dogs" in which a large and diverse company, General Services, claimed that no job is too large or too small - and hence their motto. We aren't quite in that league but strive to find solutions to unusual problems.

We are also inspired to be careful not to overstep the mark and fall down the "absolute power corrupts absolutely" rabbit hole by the Conglom-O Corporation of O-Town from "Rocko's Modern Life" (whose motto is "We Own You").

Our main subsidiaries are:

Finkelmeier Mikhailov Dhabuwala Schmokelberg Al-Khalili, an investigative Legal and Financial service company with an impressive roster of field agents.

Klaxon and Burnside, a firm of Attorneys specialising in Tax Law and Defamation, Libel and Slander cases.

Anapologia, an advocacy organisation defending logic, truth and rationality against the dark and evil forces of ignorance, bigotry and radicalism.

Lizard of Oz, a technical and recruitment service organisation for the subsidiaries of the conglomerate.

* Temple Tap

The term Temple Tap refers to the action of tapping the temple at the side of the head to indicate the state of the brain inside the head. The implication is usually that the state is either smart or crazy including the possibility that these states are contingent on each other. test α

This signifies our willingness to consider unconventional options that may be frowned upon as not sane enough for some tastes. We take the observation "it's so crazy it might just work" to heart and don't see it as a negative reflection. Stop making sense as David Byrne sang.
